What to put in your first message

  1. Your first name. That's plenty, I'm not after your life story yet.
  2. The day and roughly what time you're thinking.
  3. How long, and whether you'd like to come to me or have me come to you.
  4. Which suburb, so I know what I'm working with.
  5. Anything you'd like me to know. Nerves included, they're very common and I'm very good with them.

One small thing. For my own safety I'll ask for either a reference from another worker you've seen, or a quick verification. It takes two minutes, it's never personal, and everyone does it. If that's a dealbreaker then we probably weren't going to get along anyway.
